On Saturday 22 October a protest will take place against cuts to disability benefits and services.

The rally starts at 1pm outside Leeds City Art Gallery on the Headrow.

It is just one of a number of rallies happening on the same day, in Edinburgh, Cardiff, Leeds, Nottingham,Brighton, Manchester, Newcastle and Bristol

Disabled people in Yorkshire and Humberside, along with their families and friends, are taking to the streets in Leeds to protest against Government cuts to disability benefits and services. Join us and help to make sure all our voices are heard.

We will be marching around the centre of Leeds, making sure our voices are heard through the busy shopping streets. We will start from Victoria Gardens – just outside Leeds Art Gallery on Headrow – at 1pm, although we expect people will begin to assemble from 12.30pm. To rouse our spirits we will have African and Cuban drumming from local band Honey Drum
